Precautions after stone treatment
- Once the stone is removed, it does not necessarily happen again. Here doctors advise patients. The patient has to follow certain diets, such as spinach, red meat, cashews, tea, coffee, etc. This can lead to recurrence of stones. If the infection causes recurrent stones, it is seen that the urine is not more acidic. If so, the doctor prescribes potassium tablets to the patients so that stones do not form frequently. The patient is told to drink plenty of water. The patient should drink enough water to keep the urine white. The patient should take at least three liters of fluid including water in a day. - Gall bladder stones can be removed. It does not have the problem of recurrence.
