Gandhinagar: The Gujarat State Election Commission has announced that elections for 8,327 Gram Panchayats in the state will be held on June 22, 2025. A total of 1.30 crore voters are expected to cast their votes in these village-level elections.

As per the schedule announced by State Election Commissioner S. Muralikrishna in a press conference this afternoon, voting for the Gram Panchayat elections will be held on June 22, and counting of votes will take place on June 25. The official election notification will be issued on June 2. Candidates will be able to file their nomination papers until June 9. Scrutiny of the nominations will be conducted on June 10, and candidates can withdraw their nominations by June 11

Announcing the elections, the Election Officer said in the press conference that elections will be held for 8,327 Gram Panchayats in the state on June 22, and the results will be out on June 25, a notification regarding the Gram Panchayat elections will be published on June 2. As soon as the notification is published, the filing of nomination papers will start. According to the latest update, June 9 will be the last day to file nomination papers, while June 11 will be the last day to withdraw candidature.

ગુજરાતમાં છેલ્લા કેટલાય સમયથી અટકી પડેલી ગ્રામ પંચાયતોની આજે ચૂંટણી પંચ માટે જાહેરાત કરવામાં આવી છે, આજે બપોરે રાજ્ય ચૂંટણી પંચે પ્રેસ કૉન્ફરન્સ કરીને ગુજરાતમાં 8 થી વધુ ગ્રામ પંયાયતો માટેની ચૂંટણીની જાહેરાત કરી છે. ચૂંટણીની જાહેરાત કરતાં ચૂંટણી અધિકારી પ્રેસ કૉન્ફરન્સમાં જણાવ્યું કે, આગામી 22 જૂને રાજ્યની 8 327 ગ્રામ પંચાયતો માટે ચૂંટણી યોજાશે, અને પરિણામ 25 જૂને આવશે, ગ્રામ પંચાયતની ચૂંટણીને લઈને 2 જૂને એક જાહેરનામું પ્રસિદ્ધ થશે. જાહેરનામું પ્રસિદ્ધ થતાની સાથે જ ઉમેદવારી પત્ર ભરવાનું શરૂ થઇ જશે. તાજા અપડેટ પ્રમાણે, 9 જૂને ઉમેદવારી પત્ર ભરવાનો અંતિમ દિવસ રહેશે, જ્યારે 11 જૂને ઉમેદવારી પરત ખેંચવાનો અંતિમ દિવસ રહેશે.
