An increase in the inflation allowance of central employees has been announced. According to the system, the Government of Gujarat also considers and pays the expensive allowances of the Government of India. Until now, 17 per cent inflation allowance was paid to government officials. We will also give 28 per cent allowance as per the 28 per cent allowance fixed by the central government with an increase of 11 per cent

Following the decision of the Government of India, now the state government has also given big gifts to government employees. Significantly, the earlier allowance of 17 per cent has been increased to 11 per cent. This means that government employees will now get an inflation allowance of 28 per cent.


Millions of state government employees and pensioners are set to benefit greatly from Nitin Patel's announcement. Now the inflation allowance for state government employees has been increased by 11 per cent, so now every employee and pensioner will get an inflation allowance at the rate of 28 per cent. According to the information given by the Deputy Chief Minister, arrears for the months of July and August will be paid.

The arrears for the month of July and August will be paid to government employees in two parts. Nine lakh employees of the state are to benefit. Increasing the inflation allowance will put a burden of Rs 378 crore on the state government.
