Puja Vidhi for Holika Dahan

For the rituals of Holika Dahan, sit facing the east side and make sure you have all the materials required for pooja such as water, roli, flowers, raw yarn, jaggery, turmeric whole, moong, and gulaal among others. Along with these, make sure to keep cow dung near Holika. After doing so, wrap the raw yarn around Holika and you can do the circumambulation 3, 5 or 7 times.

હોલિકા દહન પૂજા પદ્ધતિ

શાસ્ત્રો અનુસાર હોલિકા દહન પહેલા હોળી માતાની પૂજા કરવાનો નિયમ છે. હોલિકા દહનના દિવસે સૂર્યોદય સમયે તમામ કામ ખતમકરીને સ્નાન કરો. જે બાદ સ્વચ્છ કપડાં પહેરો.

હવે તે સ્થાન પર જાઓ જ્યાં હોલિકા દહન થાય છે. અહીં પૂર્વ કે ઉત્તર તરફ મોં કરીને બેસો. સૌ પ્રથમ ગાયના છાણથી હોલિકા અનેપ્રહલાદની મૂર્તિઓ બનાવો.

હવે હાથ ધોઈને પૂજા શરૂ કરો. પહેલા પાણી અર્પણ કરો.

હવે રોલી, અક્ષત, ફૂલ, માળા, હળદર, મૂંગ, બતાશે, ગુલાલ, રંગ, સાત પ્રકારના અનાજ, ઘઉંની બુટ્ટી, શેરડી, ચણા વગેરે એક પછી એકચઢાવો.

આ સાથે ભગવાન નરસિંહની પણ પૂજા કરો.

હોલિકા પૂજા પછી પરિક્રમા પછી હોળીકાને 5 કે 7 વાર કાચા દોરાથી બાંધો.

આ સાથે સુખ-સમૃદ્ધિની કામના કરો.

હોલિકા દહન સમયે અગ્નિમાં જવ અથવા ચોખા નાખો. આમ કરવાથી દેવી લક્ષ્મીની કૃપા બની રહે છે.

HOLIKA DAHAN 2023: RITUALS OR PUJA VIDHI

• After taking a bath in the morning, sit at Holika's place of worship and face towards north or east.
• Then people should use cow dung to make the idols of Prahlad and Holika.
• Make sure to have Puja Samagri like incense sticks, vermilion, jaggery, turmeric, coconut, etc.
• People need to offer cow dung cakes and coconut to the idols and need to worship Narsingha on this day.
• Then take rounds or parikrima of Holika for 4 or 7 times.
